Cuppa Joad is the project of a few Alibris staff members. We created this blog in order to share with you the books we’re reading, as well as the literature and the authors we love. Most important, we hope you’ll find Cuppa Joad to be a place—much like a comfortable corner bookstore—where book lovers like you can share your passion for books and for reading. Please stop by each day and drink up a good book.

Here’s our starting recipe for a good Cuppa Joad. We’ll offer up three perspectives on the world of books: book reviews, lists of personal and topical favorites, and literary news. We’ll seek out independent voices (like some of the 8,000 independent booksellers who offer books through the Alibris network every day). We won’t try to be comprehensive, just interesting. We’ll do our best to provide a daily dose of thought-provoking reading that will give you some ideas about what to read next, and then we’ll even help you find it.
