I've loved reading since, at age 9, I picked up "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone" and finished it in four days. Now I'm about to enter my senior year of high school and am still an avid science-fiction and fantasy reader. My favorite titles typically involve magic, history, footnotes, or all three ("Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" comes to mind). Besides reading, I adore editing my school newspaper (yay for "The Shield"). I plan to become a professional student and work toward a PhD in ancient history. And who knows, maybe someday I'll even publish a novel that'll be featured on Cuppa Joad. :-)
